Mosaic sculpture. Character design - Lady Understory (Opossum)

Some projects captivate you from the very first word of the brief. I am currently working on sketches for the amazing sculpture «Lady Understory» in the USA 🇺🇸 for @commonwonders.art 🌷 
She is a Virginia opossum, but no ordinary one—she’s a true «theatrical diva» in Victorian fashion, resting on a forest daybed of roots and moss. Working on this character is pure inspiration! Every line of the roots, every star in her fur, and even this funny «theatrical faint» makes me smile while I work. 
I’m happy to be a part of the @commonwonders.art project, which brings so much light and awareness through art. ✨
